Every Thursday.
6 am at the Rabbit Mountain trailhead in Longmont.
We finish by 7:30.
Free event. Just show up.
What we do
We meet up at a local trail and bring a bunch of sandbags, kettlebells, and weights.
We carry the weight as a group and rotate around who’s carrying what the whole time.
Stronger guys carry more load. This is open to all abilities.
We share the weight and nobody finishes alone.
Exact Location: Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain Open Space
Carry Club:
60 to 90 minutes on the trail.
Sandbags and Scripture:
30 to 40 minutes of carrying, then 45 minutes of Bible study at the trailhead.
Brewery Carry
60 to 90 minutes of work. Ends somewhere with beer.
Kid Carry
Bring your kiddos. Shorter route, easier ground, no early start.
We post which ones are coming up in the group chat.
Do I need to bring my own weights?
No. We usually have plenty. Bring something if you have it and want to.
Do I need to be super fit?
No. This is for all ability levels. We share the weight and stronger guys carry more load.
What do I wear?
Trail shoes are a good idea. Anything you’d hike in works. Bring water.
How many people show up? Some weeks a dozen. Some weeks two. Both are normal.
What if the weather's bad? We still show up in rain, snow, or anything messy. The only thing that cancels us is lightning.
Do I need to know anybody? No. Almost nobody does the first time.
Can I bring someone? Yes! Bringing friends is encouraged.
Is it really free? Yes. Nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for.

You don't need to be a fitness freak to organize a local tribe.
Just set a time and a place, and show up.
We'll send you the format, a gear list, and how to run it - so people leave pumped to come back.
Email me [[email protected]] and I’ll get you set up.
